TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. They comprise the terms on which you are permitted to purchase items from This Is Why, Inc. (TIW) on this website (the “Website”). If you submit an order for any item advertised for sale on this Website, this shall be taken to constitute acceptance by you of these Terms:
All orders/subscriptions/memberships for all books and products listed on this website are processed by TIW. All orders for eBooks or other electronic versions of books are processed and fulfilled through TIW.
Questions about all orders should be addressed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you wish to purchase any item for sale on this Website (the ‘Product’), you must submit our completed order form. Your order will not be accepted until we have received payment.
If we agree to accept your order, we will confirm this by email (the “Confirmation”) and will supply the items you have ordered (the “Product”) to you in accordance with the Confirmation and with these Terms.
The sale and purchase of products via this Website will be governed by confirmation. We have accepted your order when we have sent you Confirmation of the order. Please note, as soon as we confirm your order, it will enter our electronic system and we will be unable to prevent it being dispatched to you. Furthermore, when you place your order, you acknowledge that:
(a) all information and specifications relating to the products and any material produced by us are approximate only; and
(b) the color of the items or designs of the covers of books shown on this Website may vary from the Products supplied to you.
We may correct any error in any unconfirmed order, sales literature or other document or information issued by us or placed on this Website without any liability.
Please note that if you have purchased an eBook or downloaded any electronic files such as an article or book chapter from this website, and have successfully downloaded it, we are unable to offer a refund on your purchase.
Orders placed for physical books on this website and successfully processed and shipped by TIW are normally non-returnable after 7 days from the date you place your order. Refunds/cancellations will be processed only as follows:
* Provided your merchandise has not been dispatched, we will halt processing of your order and refund your credit card account.
* Should your merchandise have already left our warehouse but not yet been received by you, we will provide you with the necessary information for returning the item(s) to us for refund. Under such cases, you, the customer, are responsible for the cost of returning the item. The refund will be processed upon our receipt of the returned item unless otherwise agreed.
* You may return any damaged physical product for a full refund within 10 days of the date you place your order. Please contact us as soon as you receive any damaged book so that we can advise you about making the return. For the avoidance of doubt, if you purchased a product at a discount, we will refund you the discounted price.
3M Memberships, Mailbox and Phone Answering are for a 12-month period and can only be cancelled within 3 month increments from date of purchase without penalty. Cancellations must be in writing via email with proof of receipt notification sent to email@example.com. 3M Memberships, Mailboxes and Phone Answering Services that are cancelled between the 1st-15th day of the month will not be charged the next month. Cancellations after the 15th day of the month will be charged the next month as a final payment. Example: membership that begin in January cannot be cancelled until March. However, cancellation notice must be provided via email by March 15th to not be charged for April. If you cancel your membership between March 16-31, you will be charged for April but not after. If you do not cancel your membership by March 31st, you enter another 3 months term and cannot cancel until September (however cancellation must be received between August 1-15).
How long will my return take to be processed?
We endeavor to process legitimate returns or cancellations within one week of receipt. Be sure to include your order number in any correspondence so that we can process your refund as quickly as possible for you.
How will I receive my refund?
The account of the credit or debit card used for the original purchase will be credited back the amount of that purchase, less postage and packing.
What if I have not received my refund?
If you do not receive credit for your return within four weeks please notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ti-why.com is not responsible for lost returns.
If you are a customer outside of North America, please contact us at email@example.com or call 703-997-9203 between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm EST Monday to Friday, to cancel your order in part or in whole.

For a full refund, cancellation must be made 12-hours in advance of your office reservation either online through our scheduling portal or by email. If by email, you must email firstname.lastname@example.org and the time stamp must be received at least 12 hours prior to scheduling time. Example, if you reserve Tuesday from 12:00pm-4:00pm, you must cancel by Tuesday at 12am sharp and in writing via email to email@example.com. Cancellations made after less than 12-hours before the reservation will be refundable for half of the rate or exchangeable for another day/time slot subject to availability. Cancelations made on the day of office reservation after the start of normal business hours (9am) will NOT be refundable and ONLY exchangeable for another day/time slot subject to availability.
Smart Office Memberships
BEFORE YOU CONFIRM BE AWARE OF OUR STRICT CANCELLATION POLICY
For a full refund, cancellations must be made 12-hours in advance of your office reservation either online through our scheduling portal or by email. Cancellations made less than 12-hours before the reservation will be refundable for half of the rate or exchangeable for another day/time slot subject to availability. Cancellations made on the day of office reservation after the start of normal business hours (9am) will NOT be refundable, will be charged a $25 late cancellation fee (payable upon your next visit) and ONLY exchangeable for another day/time slot subject to availability. Smart Office Membership (if applicable): reservation cancellations made by 8:59am on the same day of reservation will be returned to the amount of time remaining available within your smart membership package. Cancellations made after 9:00am and at least 2-hours the reservation, 50% of the time will be returned to the remaining time available within your smart membership package. Cancellations made less than 2 hours before your reservation will be charged a $25 late cancellation fee (payable upon your next visit) and the time will not be returned to your smart membership package.
Smart Office Memberships may be cancelled in writing under the following policy: memberships that are cancelled between the 1st-15th day of the month will not be charged the next month. Cancellations after the 15th day of the month will be charged the next month as a final payment. Example: membership that begin in January can be cancelled in February. However, cancellation notice must be provided via email by January 15th to not be charged for February. If you cancel your membership between January 16-31, you will be charged for February but not after.
The price of each product shall be the recommended retail price for that product that is quoted on this Website on the date you place your order, subject to any inadvertent pricing errors (whether technical or otherwise) by us, unless a special promotional price or other discounts are stated on the Website in respect of a product. We reserve the right to revise the price of any items on this Website without notice.
The price of any Product identified on the website excludes the cost of postage, packaging, and delivery. The costs of postage and packaging will be specified during the checkout process and are your responsibility. The cost of delivery is determined by the delivery address you specify in your order form and we acknowledge in our Confirmation (the “Premises”) and it will be added to the amount that you are charged.
Risk of damage or loss of the products shall pass to you on delivery, or if you fail to take delivery of the products, at the time when we have tried to deliver the products.
We may withdraw from the market any products that we produce or generally supply without prior notice or liability to you.

Accessing the Website
Access to the Website is permitted on a temporary basis and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on the Website without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
From time to time, we may only allow access to some parts of the Website, or the entire Website, to users who have registered with us.
If you choose, or you are provided with a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our registration and security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential and you must not disclose it to any third party. We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time and terminate your registration at any time without notice to you if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to the Website. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access the Website through your Internet connection are aware of these Terms and Conditions and that they comply with them.

Unless otherwise stated, we are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Website, and in the material published on it. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “material” means without limitation, text, graphics, images, video, products, memberships, and sound material. These works are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All such rights are reserved.
You may download and print extracts from material on the Website for your own personal and non-commercial use only. You must not download or print the material or extracts from it in a systematic or regular manner or otherwise, so as to create a database in electronic or paper format comprising all or part of the material appearing on the Website. Guidelines for Social Media Conduct through Our Website
Please be courteous and constructive and take particular care about what types of personal information you share.
We will not tolerate fraudulent content, including fake profiling to submit content or misrepresentation. We will not tolerate sexist, racist, or other bigoted or hateful content. We do not allow span or advertising messages nor do we allow the sending of bulk messages, the posting of copyrighted content without written permission, the posting of plagiarized material, submitting fake reviews or paying someone to submit content that benefits your business, scamming people into sharing personal information, stealing or borrowing anything from the Website or other sites (like copyright or trademark material), breaking or hacking into private unauthorized places, especially if it’s with the intention of causing harm or stealing information, threatening, slandering, making libelous statements, harassing, invading people’s privacy or impersonating others.
We are committed to doing everything we can to protect the Website from fraudulent content. On the rare occasion that we do find bogus content, spam, fake reviews, or submissions from fraudulent profiles, we remove them immediately and take steps to ensure that the businesses and users in question are blocked from our site.
We reserve the right to remove content that we determine to be inappropriate and/or in violation of the Terms and Conditions. Depending on the level of offence, violating our guidelines may result in the termination of your Website account without warning and the passing of any information to the police.
